By downloading or using the Herpride app, you agree to these Terms.
Herpride provides period, cycle, and pregnancy tracking; mood journaling; access to licensed health professionals; health insurance products; an organic period-care subscription store (Herpride Pad); and a community feature.
Herpride's tracking, predictions, and AI-based insights (Herpride AI, MamaCare, BabeCare) are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns. Messaging a health professional through the app does not replace an in-person medical relationship where one is needed.
Herpride Insurance is administered in partnership with LICENSED PARTNER. Insurance policies are subject to separate policy terms, eligibility requirements, and exclusions provided at the time of purchase. Herpride is not itself a licensed insurer.
Herpride Pad subscriptions (Basic, Premium, Elite) renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your profile settings.
The Herpride app is free to download and use. Charges arise only from Herpride Pad subscriptions and Herpride Insurance premiums, and this section explains when those are refundable.
Herpride Pad. You can cancel at any time in your profile settings. Cancellation takes effect from your next dispatch date, so orders that have already been dispatched are not refundable. If a delivery arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace the items or refund you in full. For hygiene reasons, opened period-care products cannot be returned unless they are defective or unsafe.
Herpride Insurance. Premiums are not refundable once your cover has started, because you have been on risk for that period. Cancelling stops all future billing and ends your cover immediately; it does not refund premiums you have already paid. Any cooling-off period or short-period refund is governed by the policy terms issued by the underwriter at the time of purchase.
Failed, duplicate, or incorrect charges. If you are charged in error, charged twice, or charged after cancelling, we will refund the full amount to your original payment method. Refunds are processed through Paystack and typically reach your account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
How to request a refund. Email info@herpride.io with the payment reference, the email address or phone number on the account, and a short description of the issue. We will respond within 5 business days.
Nothing in this section affects your rights under Nigerian law, including your rights as a consumer under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 to a refund, replacement, or repair for goods that are defective, unsafe, or not as described. Where those rights apply, they take precedence over this section.
By using the Community feature you agree not to post content that is harassing, abusive, medically dangerous (e.g., discouraging others from seeking care), or that discloses another user's personal or health information without consent. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Herpride and its directors, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Services.
In particular, and without limiting the above, we are not liable for:
Where we are found liable, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Herpride in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₦20,000. This section survives the termination of your account.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Nigerian law. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any rights you have as a consumer under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018. Where liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, it is limited to the minimum extent the law permits.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
